18K Granulation and Sterling Silver Necklace

Description

Using ancient jewelry techniques, the artist, Domenico D’Addario, has created this dramatic piece entirely by hand. The 18K balls that grace the interior of each sterling silver cup are called granulation and are soldered carefully to the silver. Each piece of silver is hand fabricated, and the silver is textured to give added dimension to the piece. The style is contemporary and classic, a perfect combination of artistry and materials.
