September brings with it two gemstones that couldn’t be more different—and yet, they share an undeniable magic.

Sapphires are best known for their rich blues, but that’s only the beginning of their story. This modern birthstone is a chameleon, found in shades from deep teal to sunny yellow, delicate pink, even fiery red. While sapphires are mined in many places, I have a special fondness for the striking blues of Montana sapphires, right here in the USA. There’s something so special about wearing a gem with an American origin story.
