Our client had worn her marquise diamond engagement ring for many years.

Like many of us, her style had evolved over time. The heavy yellow gold setting that had been popular in the 1980s no longer reflected who she was. The high-profile ring also caught on clothing and often got in the way of everyday life.

She loved her diamond.

She simply wanted the ring to feel like her again.

Together we redesigned the ring in platinum with a lower profile that would be comfortable enough for daily wear. A sparkling halo surrounded the marquise diamond, while a diamond V-shaped band and pear-shaped accent diamonds added brilliance without overwhelming her hand.

The transformation preserved everything that mattered—the sentimental diamond and the memories attached to it—while creating a ring that felt fresh, elegant and wearable.
