Ayesha Mayadas

Ayesha Mayadas was born in Calcutta, India, After a thirteen year career as a textile engineer, she decided to pursue her passion for metals full-time. Mayadas creates wearable sculptural rings, earrings, and necklaces in gold and platinum. They are inspired by nature and are like small tactile sculptures that offer little glimpses into nature; the ripple of water, the fullness of a raindrop, the broken edge of a dried leaf. The organic softness and simplicity of Ayesha’s work captures our imagination and instills the desire to own a piece – true work of art.
